The disciples were terrified, certain they were about to drown. And all the while, Jesus was asleep at the back of the boat. Not out of indifference, but because He wasn't afraid of what frightened everyone else.
When He stood up, He didn't row harder, He didn't bail out the water. He simply spoke — and what seemed unstoppable fell silent at once.
The storm you're facing today does not have the final word. The One who is in your boat is greater than it. And sometimes, before calming the storm around you, He wants first to calm the one within you.
